Are you our new interpreter for Women’s Club?

Are you our new interpreter for Women’s Club?

Would you like to help Trampoline House with our Women's Club? Are you fluent in Farsi or Arabic and want to be part of a cross-cultural women's group? Then you are the one, we are looking for!

By Christiane Jessen

In Women's Club and Women’s Class we aim to create a comfortable space of solidarity, knowledge exchange and support, where we facilitate female empowerment. In order to maintain an inclusive and accessible program, we are looking for interpreters who can help with translation.

We need your help, if you are:

  • Able to join us in Trampoline House at least one Saturday or Friday a month.

  • A fluent speaker of Farsi or Arabic and able to translate to and from English or Danish.

  • Identifying as female (because the Women’s Club is only open to female users of the house, you need to identify as a female yourself).

Join the community

Trampoline House is a community center in Copenhagen for asylum seekers and refugees, which is also open to the general public and local community. Every second and third Friday of the month at 4 – 6 pm we have Women’s Class where we discuss topics revolving around female empowerment and shared experiences. The second Saturday of the month at 2 – 7 pm, the house is open to women only, and offers medical and legal counselling and relaxation therapy. We hang out, talk and cook together.

As Trampoline House is driven by volunteers, the job us unpaid, but you will get the opportunity to be part of a cross-cultural women's group where you play a vital role in making sure everyone can take equal part in the conversation.

Support refugees’ rights

Integration doesn’t just happen by itself. Our work in the women’s club is dependent on the financial support from individuals. If you, your partner or your mother would also be able to support our work with a recurring donation, it would make a great difference to our work.
