News from the house!

Trampoline House is not closed; we are opening a new space in Copenhagen in the spring of 2024.

After losing its permanent physical home in 2020, Trampoline House has lived precariously the last three years.

Most recently Trampoline House was housed in Roskilde in a collaboration with the Museum for Samtidskunst and Roskilde kommune. But unfortunately this arrangement was only temporary. We are now again in search of a space and have decided to use this situation constructively to reinvent and  restructure the house with a completely new economical structure, a new leadership and a new vision.

While preparing the new house we still have our juridical service with Michelle Keun-Rasmussen,  Nabila Saidi continues as social coordinator,  Jean-Calude Mbombo Mangomba and Dady de Maximo are actively holding conferences and workshops on democracy and integration and Trampoline Houses activities. Joachim Hamou is preparing upcoming collaborations with institutions in Denmark and abroad.

Today the board of Trampoline House is for the first time led by 75% previous asylum seekers. This means that the house is led by people who have experienced the Danish asylum system first hand. One of the major changes in Trampoline House next year is our economical status. We are now turning Trampoline House into an independent cooperative that can enable all users to work and actively take part in Danish society.

Trampoline House is for everyone and will remain a space for everyone. We welcome all refugees and immigrants also from Ukraine, and the EU. Our house is your house!
