SAVE THE DATE: Support party for Trampoline House @ Kapelvej 44 on August 20

“Refugees in Denmark more than ever before need a community with who to protest the continuous parliamentary and societal encroachment on their rights!”

Join us for one of this year’s coolest summer parties and support Trampoline House's work for refugees and asylum seekers in Denmark at the same time. The party takes place on August 20 from 6 pm–2 am at Kapelvej 44, 2200 Copenhagen N.

For 12 years, the house has been one of the few places where children and adults who have fled conflict, persecution or human rights violations can get counseling, develop capacities, find community, and bear witness to the shadowy sides of Danish refugee policy – all under one roof!

Kapelvej 44 – K44 is generously hosting the party so there is room for all of us. During the evening, we offer a delicious buffet by the food club without borders, Sisters Cuisine 🎉 live acts with Looking for Duende and Kadikadizza 🎉 in-house DJs from Trampoline House behind the pult 🎉 Copenhagen's cheapest cocktail bar 🎉 cool merchandise 🎉 childcare and children's bar from 6–9 pm 🎉 and much more ...

Party Program:

6–6:30: Welcome speeches by Dady de Maximo (chairperson of Trampoline House’s board), Nabila Saidi (social coordinator in Trampoline House), and Shakira Kasigwa Mukamusoni (board member and volunteer in Trampoline House)

6:30–7:30: Bar and buffet by Sisters Cuisine: Food without Borders. Suggested donation: DKK 50

7:30–8: Performance by children from deportation center Avnstrup and Foreningen Alverdens Børn

9:30–10:00: Live act by Kadikadizza

10:00–02: Bar and dancing with DJ Mehari, DJ Goody, DJ Lewis, and DJ Tuna

02: The party ends

There is free bus transport to/from the party for residents from deportation center Avnstrup. The bus picks up residents in Avnstrup at 4:30 pm and drive them to the party. There is a bus going back to Avnstrup at 9 pm and again at 02 am.

So, come and party with the world's best crowd and support the work of Trampoline House, so we can also be there for refugees and asylum seekers tomorrow.

There is no entrance to the party, but the opportunity to donate DKK 50 or more at the door. All the money from the door, the buffet and the bar go uncut to Trampoline House.

If you can’t make it to the party but want to support the Trampoline House financially, you are very welcome to donate now or after the party.

Warm thanks Mosegården Jordbrug, Nørrebrew (Maté Maté) and Slowburn for sponsoring the support party!
