On Sunday, we will continue our lecture series on the Danish asylum system when Anne Lund Preisler Herbst from the Danish Refugee Council visits the Weekend Trampoline House. She will tell us more about the so-called paradigm shift in Danish immigration policy, which was adopted by the Folketing in February 2019.
Project Art Works visits Weekend Trampoline House to conduct workshop for people in the asylum system
We are so proud to announce that Project Art Works, a collective of neurodiverse artists and activists from the UK, will visit Trampoline House from May 20–22 to conduct a workshop with people from the house. Titled "Massaging the Asylum System", the workshop runs over two days and is for people in the Danish asylum system and in the Danish integration program.

On May 1, you can learn more about the poor health conditions of refugees at Europe's borders. It happens when the film festival Global Health Film Days in collaboration with Doctors without Borders Denmark and Weekend Trampoline House invite the public to a film and debate event in the Apostle Church in Copenhagen about the living conditions of refugees and asylum seekers in the notorious Moria refugee camp on the Greek island Lesvos.

OPENING RECEPTION for the new WEEKEND TRAMPOLINE HOUSE
On January 28, 2022, the refugee justice community center Trampoline House re-opens in a smaller version under the name "Weekend Trampoline House" in the Apostle Church's parish house in Vesterbro in Copenhagen. Great New Year's News – Trampoline House re-opens in a smaller version!
On January 28, 2022, the refugee justice community center Trampoline House re-opens in a smaller version under the name Weekend Trampoline House.
The new house will be located in the Apostle Church's parish house in Copenhagen, and will every Friday and every Sunday from 2–8 pm offer legal counseling, activities, and community to asylum seekers, rejected asylum seekers, and refugees with residence permits.
Weekend Trampoline House will be a gathering place for displaced people as well as Danish citizens and international residents who work for a more humane refugee policy together

Press release: Trampoline House still part of documenta fifteen
We don't have a physical house anymore, but the Trampoline House community still exists, and we will use our participation in the large art exhibition documenta fifteen to:
1) Open a temporary 'Weekend Trampoline House' in an existing culture house in Copenhagen in 2021, in which we on a voluntary basis will continue a selection of the former Trampoline House's activities for asylum seekers, refugees, and other socially disadvantaged and marginalized citizens and residents in Denmark.
2) Develop a model for a new, self-sustainable Trampoline House during "documenta fifteen"’s exhibition program and education program in Kassel from June–September 2022 that can be launched in 2023.
3) Produce an anthology documenting the history, methods, programming, and knowledge production of the first Trampoline House, the emergency solutions of the temporary Trampoline House, and the model for the future Trampoline House, which will constitute an important archive and tool in the work to establish of a new organization.

Sad news: Trampoline House is closing down permantly at the end of December
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that Trampoline House will not reopen in the new year, but will close permanently at the end of December. The coronacrisis has hit the house's economy hard. In addition, a number of funding applications that were to finance two new socioeconomic programs in the house in order for it to become more sustainable were recently rejected. So after 10 years of operation, Trampoline House's board and management see no other option than to close down the house.
Trampoline House remains closed until Jan. 3
Because of new corona restrictions in Copenhagen, Trampoline House will remain closed until Jan. 3. We hope to be able to reopen in some form on Jan. 4.
You can reach a staff member every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between 9 am–2:30 pm. You can also get legal counseling from our legal counselor Asrin Mesbah every Tuesday from 9 am–5 pm by calling our counseling phone at (+45) 81 11 32 36.

Trampoline House's exhibition space CAMP is closing and releases the recollective book "CAMP status!"
On September 27, Trampoline House’s exhibition space CAMP / Center for Art on Migration Politics releases the recollective publication CAMP status! Seven Years of Engaging Art on Migration Politics during a festive book launch in Trampoline House. The publication will be CAMP's last activity before the center closes its exhibition activities in Trampoline House on October 1. The book documents CAMP’s unique production of decolonial migration engaged exhibitions, events, publications, and education programs from 2013–2020.
Art auction raised nearly DKK 700,000
📣 95 CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS IN A(U)CTION FOR REFUGEES IN TRAMPOLINE HOUSE
From today and until August 22, you can bid on artworks made by some of the most prominent Danish and international contemporary artists in a large art auction – and at the same time support Trampoline House's work for refugees in Denmark. The auction is a charity event, which is organized in collaboration with Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers and Kunsthal Charlottenborg in support of Trampoline House, which is in a serious financial situation.
On Tuesday, Trampoline House opens again
Trampoline House makes soup kitchen for homeless and socially vulnerable during the coronacrisis
Like many other organizations, Trampoline House has had to temporarily shut down because of the corona pandemic and the assembly ban. But on May 11, the house will gradually reopen to launch a soup kitchen for homeless migrants and socially vulnerable. The soup kitchen has been named Empty Stomach and will Monday–Friday between 5–6 pm in May and June serve a free hot meal from our garden to anyone, who doesn't know where dinner should otherwise come from.
Corona Crisis: Online tutoring can be a break from quarantine for refugee children
The Corona crisis is upon us, and that means that like many places, Trampoline House is closed these days. This crisis can hit refugees extra hard, and isolation is especially difficult on children. With this in mind, Trampoline House has created some online activities. Here children are happy to take a break from quarantine with online homework help with a familiar face.
