📣 95 CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS IN A(U)CTION FOR REFUGEES IN TRAMPOLINE HOUSE
From today and until August 22, you can bid on artworks made by some of the most prominent Danish and international contemporary artists in a large art auction – and at the same time support Trampoline House's work for refugees in Denmark.
For almost 10 years, Trampoline House has been an important gathering place for asylum seekers and refugees with a focus on furthering equality and inclusion through education, job training programs, and cultural events. But the House is right now in a serious financial situation, which could have major consequences for our work.
Therefore, 95 internationally renowned contemporary artists have generously donated works to a major art auction in support of Trampoline House, including Olafur Eliasson, Tal R, SUPERFLEX, Kirstine Roepstorff, Michael Kvium Ursula Reuter Christiansen, HuskMitNavn, Alexander Tovborg, Jeannette Ehlers, David Shrigley, Rose Eken, Khaled Barakeh, Kaspar Bonnén, Tania Bruguera, Bjørn Nørgaard, Tiffany Chung and many more.
The auction is organized in collaboration with Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers and Kunsthal Charlottenborg and begins with a Net Auction, where you can see and bid on the works from August 7 until August 22 at 12:55 pm here: bruun-rasmussen.dk/m/auctions/1006457
The highest bids will form the basis in a festive Traditional Auction, which will take place in Charlottenborg's Festival Hall at Kgs. Nytorv in Copenhagen on Saturday, August 22 from 1–4 pm, where the works come under Bruun Rasmussen's final hammer blow. As we follow the authorities' corona guidelines, the number of seats is limited to 100.
Everyone involved in the art auction works voluntarily, and Bruun Rasmussen does not charge buyer or seller fees in connection with the auction. All proceeds therefore go to Trampoline House's work for refugees.

Aug. 22: The Traditional Auction opens in Charlottenborg's Festival Hall
10 am–12:30 pm: Preview of artworks
1–4 pm: Art auction with welcome speeches, live performance by Shaka Loveless and refreshments
4–5 pm: Payment and pick-up of purchased works
Aug. 24–: Works purchased at the Net Auction can be picked up at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers, Baltikavej 10, 2150 Nordhavn, Denmark
