📣 Trampoline House is co-organizer of a big demonstration on Sunday, April 17, in Copenhagen, which protests against Denmark's forced deportation practices that divide families and allow the use of force.
The demonstration follows in the wake of the violent video of the forced deportation of the Kurdish Iranian mother Ghadam and two of her three children from the Danish Deportation Center Avnstrup, which Trampoline House uploaded on social media on March 29, and which has provoked heated debate:
- The authorities are interfering with the right to family life. They are separating the parents and they are removing a small child from his mother, says Eddie Khawaja, who is the Iranian woman Ghadam’s lawyer. While her future in Denmark is hanging by a thread, it is discussed whether Denmark has violated the European Convention on Human Rights.
