👺 On Friday, March 25, the artist and co-founder of Trampoline House, Joachim Hamou, will visit from England and do a puppet workshop with users of the house 👺
We will empty out the big room in the Apostle Church, roll out papers on the floor, and roll up our selves and create amazing representation of our selves!
The puppet workshop will be a process where the making of the figures also creates the content and ideas of how to use them. The puppets will also part of Trampoline House’s art installation in the big documenta fifteen exhibition in Germany this summer.
👉 We will begin with a short exercise where all the participants make a quick drawing of themselves the way they think others see them (10 min.)
👉 Then we will talk about the drawings shortly (15 min.)
👉 Then we will make a cast of everybody’s faces to have a something to start from.
For those of you who already have an idea about how you would like to make your puppet or those of you who want to make “big heads” or smaller figures, you can start directly.
We will see how far we get on Friday, but we will probably have to continue on Sunday, March 27.
