Demonstration: Reopening of rejected Iranians' asylum cases now!

Saturday, November 5, 2–4 pm at Christiansborg Slotsplads, Copenhagen

Iran is not safe! Yet there are still many Iranians stuck in Danish deportation centres, most of whom have lived in the centres for many years.

Many politicians condemn the suppressive regime in Iran and show support to the fight for freedom happening in Iran right now. But the hypocrisy sets in when the very same politicians pursue policies that place Iranians in deportation centres without the possibility of living a normal life and, in the worst case, attempt to forcibly deport them to a country where they are not safe.

The Iranian people of deportation center Avnstrup invite you to show up on Saturday, November 5 at Christiansborg Slotsplads, Copenhagen from 2–4 pm to protest and demand a better life for the many Iranians living in Danish deportation centres.

– We demand that the Iranians who are living in Danish deportation centres get their asylum cases reopened, and that they should not be subjected to the deporation center system!

– We also recommend that the deportation centres are phased out, and that all rejected asylum seekers who are deportation hindered have their asylum cases reopened!

The demonstration is organized by the Iranian residents in deportation center Avnstrup in collaboration with:
