As for other events, the Calendar is full of great activities this week, for instance  The Museum of Migration Experiences, a workshop in two parts conducted by Amsterdam-based artist Ilya Rabinovich for asylum seekers, refugees, migrants, and Danish-based artists working with migration and asylum thematics. During the two parts of the workshop, which take place this week from Wednesday-Friday from 2-6 pm and from April 11-13, Rabinovich will in collaboration with the participants produce an installation titled The Museum of Migration Experiences, which in multifaceted ways includes, reflects, and communicates the different experiences, traumas, and dreams of migrants. The finished installation is presented to the public during an launch in the Trampoline House on April 14. Hope to see you in the Trampoline House this week. The Calendar is full of great activities, for instance:

• Our yoga class for women, which takes place every Monday from 4-5 pm.
• Our campaign meetings for a more just and sustainable asylum system, which take place every Tuesday from 4-6 pm and every Thursday from 2-4 pm.
• Confidential counseling and testing of HIV, Syphilis, BMI, blood sugar, and blood pressure by a representative from the organization Cross-Over this Thursday from 5-7 pm.
• Opening of the exhibition Immigrant Image Archive at the Danish Immigration Museum, Stavnsholtvej 3, 3520 Farum, on Friday at 2 pm.
• The Trampoline House Film Club, which on Friday at 5 pm screens the film Vanaja, directed by Rajnesh Domalpalli, India, 2006, 111 min.

In addition, five users of the Trampoline House created this fun and different investigative journalistic documentary about the Danish asylum system, and how to improve it. Made in collaboration between three asylum seekers and two danes. Have a look! http://vimeo.com/34658731

• the meeting between Swedish and Danish representatives from the No Border Camp 2012 project on Saturday from 6:30 pm, where new and old activists from Copenhagen will get the opportunity to discuss with the Swedish representatives the content of the camp and how the Danish based groups can contribute.

To this aim, all house meetings (Tuesdays, 2-4 pm) until July 1 will partly be devoted to plan and strategize the content and methodologies of the campaign. In addition, we will have campaign planning meetings every Tuesday from 4-6 pm and every Thursday from 2-4 pm. Please join these meetings, if you are interested in contributing to this campaign.

• Support demonstration for the international Kurdish satellite television station, ROJ TV, in front of Københavns Byret, Nytorv, Copenhagen K (Tuesday, 12-2 pm)
• Seminar on European Asylum Policies in Europa Huset, Gothersgade 115, Copenhagen K (Tuesday, 4-6 pm)
• ‘Getting Positive’ Workshop in the Trampoline House: A workshop for asylum seekers, who recently got residence permit in Denmark. Former asylum seekers James and Kaosar will give good advice on how to navigate in Danish society and how to get through the Danish integration program (Thursday, 4-6 pm)
• Introduction course to new asylum seeking users of the Trampoline House, where we explain the history, mission, and daily work of the house to asylum seekers who have just started using the house (Friday, 3-4 pm)
• Introduction course to new Danish users/volunteers/activists of the Trampoline House, where we explain the history, mission, and daily work of the house to Danes who are new to the house (Friday, 4-5 pm)
• Screening of the film Working class goes to heaven/La classe operaia va in paradiso, directed by Elio Petri, Italy, 1971, 125 min. (Sunday, 8 pm-)

In addition to our weekly services and activities, we will devote the next six months to conduct a campaign intended to remind the new Danish government to keep its election promise: that all asylum seekers should be allowed to live and work outside of the Danish asylum centers after six months.

If you are interested in contributing to this campaign, please come to the house meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 3, from 2-4 pm, where we will conceptualize the campaign.

And remember that on Friday, December 16, the Trampoline House celebrates its one year birthday with a big support party and open house from 1 pm-12 am/kl. 13-24. Come celebrate the day with us in grand style and help us raise funds to continue our work for a just and humane asylum policy. The festivities are also a reminder to the new Danish government to keep its election promise: that all asylum seekers should be allowed to live and work outside of the Danish asylum centers after six months. From Monday, December 19 to Sunday, January 1, the Trampoline House will be closed for the Christmas Holidays. We open again Monday, January 2, 2012!
